Our room was a cozy retreat, equipped with all the comforts you could hope for, including a queen-size bed and a charming view of the Androscoggin River. It’s the perfect spot for a family looking to unwind while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. One of the highlights was the stunning grounds, which offered a peaceful setting for evening relaxation. We enjoyed a glass of wine while soaking up the serene atmosphere, and I must admit, the gardens were a great spot for the kids to explore as well. Located conveniently near downtown Brunswick, we discovered several delightful restaurants for dinner within walking distance. This accessibility made our trip even more enjoyable, as we could easily retreat to our cozy abode after an evening out. Black Lantern B&B checks all the boxes for comfort and affordability, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore the culinary delights of Maine’s Mid-Coast while enjoying the great outdoors. Highly recommend this hidden gem for families and fellow outdoor enthusiasts alike!
